SAS115 - Airworthiness/ Technical Records Analyst

Job Purpose

The Airworthiness/ Technical Records Analyst is responsible for administering the records of the aircraft and associated aircraft documentation and publications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor aircraft airworthiness documentation presented to Part M;
  • Ensure flight data shown on the aircraft technical log and Sector Record Pages (SRP) are accurate and entered onto Aerotrac;
  • Ensure Hangar Project (HP) data is accurate. Enter HP data onto Aerotrac and update Logbook certificates;
  • Updating of the Aircraft, Engine and Modification log books;
  • Conduct quality checks of all received maintenance documentation;
  • Confirmation and quality checks of correct spare parts documentation reported by maintenance providers;
  • Coordinate aircraft record mistake corrections with multiple stakeholders;
  • Update Aircraft component log cards and equipment lists as appropriate;
  • Maintain and archive SRP, HP and component documentation;
  • Filing and scanning of aircraft maintenance documents;
  • Contribute to the development of a planning led environment that ensures all operational information is current and available in a centralised location to assist in informative decision making;
  • Ability to develop procedures in accordance with Company requirements;
  • Ability to interpret OEM and technical documentation;
  • Complying with operational safety and security issues.

Emergency Response

  • Maintain knowledge of the emergency response programme policies, processes and procedures, as defined by the Emergency Response Procedures. Be prepared to respond in a crisis as an ERP representative, if required by the role.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience controlling data in a regulated environment
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Proven experience in coordination of a live operational environment
  • Good command of both verbal and written English
  • IT and MS Office proficiency
  • Flexibility to travel when required


  • Qualification relevant to data administration and control
  • Previous experience within a similar position administering technical records
  • Good understanding of aircraft maintenance practises and regulations
  • Good understanding of flight operations, practises and regulations
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours, if required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to work
  • Confident, approachable and enthusiastic
  • Accurate, numerate with excellent attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously 
  • Flexibility to travel, when required
